England (@1.9) vs Australia (@2.37)

Our Prediction:

England will win

England – Australia Match Prediction | 13-09-2019 06:00

The side go into every match with a one track gameplan, looking to bat first and put the runs on the board with no strategy in place while chasing. Still to play Australia, New Zealand and India and needed to win atleast the one match and wishing that other results swing their way, the home side no longer look the invincible everyone was billing them to be.

Picking Jason Roy is a risk but he could be batting in the middle order in this match, a position he is much more suited for. Khawaja has looked good without getting a big score and will need to be more responsible in the absence of Steve Smith. Batsmen: Usman Khawaja, Jason Roy, and Rory Burns are the only batsmen we have selected in our Dream11 team. Burns has been the best opening batsmen from either side so far.

His place at the top of the order and the low price for which he is available makes him a good pick to allow for some great players in the other categories as well. Batsmen: Again, there are some very good options in the batting department. While Root, Warner, and Finch are among the highest run-scorers of the cricket world cup 2019, James Vince has struggled for runs. Joe Root, David Warner, Aaron Finch, and James Vince are our choices for this match.

With Steve Smith injured, there could be a new game changer in this match. Joe Root is a risky pick given he has not hit top form yet, but the England captain could be key on his home ground. Vice-captain may be slightly safer. As captain then, Pat Cummins took 13 wickets in the first two matches and could be a safe pick for more points.

Moeen Ali came in for criticism for his batting last time out and Liam Dawson is an option to bring in, but Ali generally appears to have the backing of the selectors. England will continue to be without their first-choice opener in Jason Roy as he has failed to regain full fitness from the hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last two games. James Vince, therefore, will continue to open the batting alongside Jonny Bairstow. Liam Plunkett could also return, serving up swing as opposed to Mark Woods seam.

Elsewhere, Australia have assured themselves of a spot in the semi-final after becoming the first side to reach the stage after getting the better of Bangladesh the last time around. The 48 run win for them now sees them having constructed a three match winning spree, one which has seen them pp England to earn the status of one of the favourites for the glistening trophy.

These are all assumptions based on the pre-match noise from the two camps and this is why we will be updating our Dream11 team for England vs Australia Ashes 2019 third test on twitter after the pitch report and toss. Dream11 prediction for England vs Australia Ashes 2019 third test match. We also think Jason Roy may get to bat in the middle order in this match. This match is going to be played at Headingley, a venue that has been good for bowlers in the past.

Its Australia who hold a massive advantage, winning 81 matches as opposed to the 61 wins for England. A coveted rivalry, one which dates all the way back to 1970 in the ODI arena, the two sides have seen a humongous 147 cricket matches being contested between the two sides till date. Weve seen two matches end in draws as well while three have failed to give us a result after being truncated.

England vs Australia 3rd Test Match Prediction

Beating England at this point mustve surely given them the much-needed confidence for the forthcoming matches. England has been down because two of their players are injured and their batting order has taken a hit. Sadly, he has been proved wrong. One of the other reasons for the defeat was the fact that the Sri Lankans did play magnificently. There were no expectations from them, and the team was in need of a morale boost. However, Eon Morgan, the English skipper assured fans that the injuries were not going to be in the way of their performance.

In order to afford the four star batsmen, some savings need to made elsewhere. Ben Stokes is in top form but to pick the Englishman you must be prepared to sacrifice one of the other star players. Moeen Ali might be a better pick therefore particularly as he has something to prove after defeat last time out. Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis are both only 8.5 credits.

Wicketkeeper: We have three excellent wicketkeeper options. Jonny Bairstow is an opening batsman, Jos Buttler is the X factor of the England side, while Alex Carey is very good down the order. For this match, we have selected Jos Buttler. He has not scored runs in the last few matches but loves playing against Australia and is not the kind of player to miss out for a long time.

With Stoinis back, Adam Zampa was also able to return to lead the spin attack and Nathan Coulter-Nile slotted back in too. Shaun Marsh, Jason Behrendorff and Kane Richardson missed out and those three, along with Nathan Lyon, are likely to miss out again against England. Marcus Stoinis returned from injury to face Bangladesh, restoring balance to the Australian line-up.
